In just 3 days after returning from Guangzhou, the series of news about the serious floodings in China appeared on the papers afew days in a row, especially in Guangzhou. The heavy rain resulted in the overflowing of the Pearl River which we've been and it's the worse of 50years. I feel kind of relief in a way because these did not happen when we were there.
Actually, 3days before we went to Guangzhou, China news also reported that frogs, toads and cockcroaches appeared in the streets which are signs of an earthquake Sichuan experienced. My Grandmother advised me not to go initially. It definitly did scare me alot. I even had plans of redrawing from the trip. But my mum asked mr Fauroni and he assured that MOE will give a warning in advance if it's too dangerous to go. Since there's no warning, the trip will carry on. There's a part of me that is still scared so I prayed hard that nothing will happen. Thank God.
